Plum Blossoms and Sparrow Soba Choko Cup

This charming soba choko cup depicts a mother sparrow feeding her chick on a plum tree branch surrounded by blossoms. In Japan, the sparrow is believed to ward off bad luck and represents family prosperity and safety, while plum blossoms are considered auspicious and widely regarded as a herald of spring. Earthy tones of the base porcelain, accented with delicate blue lines along the outer bottom rim and inner rim, create a grounded, harmonious feel.
