Beautifully crafted pair of cups and great experience buying them.

Among all of the sake carafes out there, this was simply THE ONE for me. I was immediately drawn to the heavenly-blue color, which is even more beautiful in real life. It is also very precious to the touch and has the look and feel that only a handmade piece is able to offer. When not in use, it serves as a nice display piece, alongside my hand-crafted matcha chawan (that Kutaniware also carries). I hope that Kokuzou Kiln will bring this series back someday. It was shipped on Wednesday and arrived (in the Netherlands) on Friday!

These sauce plates were lovely. The designs are whimsical and fun. Each plate is uniquely hand painted and of very high quality. Colors are very vivid.

I received the Snoopy sauce plates collection, and it's beautiful, the same you can see in the page photography. When I bought the product I worried about the state in which the package would arrive because the travel from Japan to Mexico is long, and I'm not live in a big city, so I thought it could be loose in the mail (in Mexico it's common). But the product was perfectly packaged, and it arrives in the time the page promised because they choosed a good carrier (so it totally worth to pay the shipping service). I also was impressed because the collection was wrapped with furoshiki art, in a beautiful box, and it was a very nice surprise.

I have long admired the Japanese tradition of gorgeous and meticulous gift wrapping. the first time I received a gift so wrapped, I felt so touched by the thoughtfulness and care. It made the gift and event even more special. This Furoshiki wrapping cloth not only helps to fulfill this function, it is in itself a lovely keepsake. The proportions of the cats and birds to the background has its own special charm.

I had to wait some weeks for my ordered item and the communication in the meantime was as excellent. I am glad that I accepted the waiting time. The Kutani item I got is fantastic. The packing for international dispatch was highly professional. I can highly recommend this shop.
